the City & Beyond is supposed to encourage our fellow peers to live their fullest life and take small but very big steps to understanding the world around them. Not just by traveling but by being open.
“There are 113,431,943 valid passports in circulation, which means 36% of Americans own a valid passport (and therefore 64% do not)”. as of Jun 3, 2016. Just think about that. There is a huge part of America who has never experienced poutine in Canada, the changing of the guards in England, or the Northern lights in… you pick. These experiences are not just a good time, it’s a gesture of openness. As we know there are plenty of people closed off and set in their ways. And if 64% continue to do so, we’ll never have peace because not enough of us understand.
